Smells, colors, flavors! Nothing could better describe the concept of “orchard”. The lush green plants, the smells of the flowers, and the tastes of the fruits of the trees stimulate all the senses. This is our orchard. A place where our family has lived for years, cultivating it with care, love and passion. It was the family’s main summer home and also our main source of income. An orchard lives in all four seasons of the year, spring and summer with citrus and vines, autumn and winter with olives and fruit trees. So our family during the summer months were busy harvesting the citrus fruits, as well as grape picking and wine production and during the winter months with olive harvesting. The orchard is not just a garden in which various plants and trees are found, it is a place of family gathering, co-working and coexistence.

Slow Living

Waking up to bright rays of the sun and to the smell of freshly picked fruits, enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal from ingredients gathered from the space around you, eating under the olive trees in the afternoon dew with the company of homemade wine in peace and serenity, are all that describes “slow living”. “Slow living” is a new approach to the world around us.  Simplicity, tranquillity, and a balanced daily routine are just a few of its elements. At a time when everything around us is moving at an excessive rate, it seems necessary to stop for a moment to take a breath and listen to your needs. With the trend of “slow living”, we can reassess our lives at a more relaxed pace of everyday life which will in turn helps us to enjoy every moment as if they were all special and unique, starting with the simplest and smallest things. In our “vineyard” everyone would have the chance to relax, get in touch with nature and its beauty, taste local fresh flavors and experience a different way of living.
